Kipling Estate Walkabout

We have decided the time is now for a JMB initiative to coordinate the greening of our estates. We have set up a Green group as a platform for residents to steer the project, and we would like to encourage more residents to join. Please invite anyone you know will be interested along.

Within the past week the Group has held a Zoom meeting and visited the Bermondsey Street TRA area to look at opportunities. We would like to take the same approach for other TRA areas. We are encouraging residents to join all of the sessions, as a chance to see other estates and exchange ideas. Dates are:

• Kipling TRA: Tuesday 11th August 5.30pm. Meet outside Simla House. The plan is to follow on a TRA AGM at 7pm (Cllr Damian O’Brien will join)
• Decima Street; Tuesday 1^st September. 5 pm meet outside Decima street TRA hall  (Cllr Helen Dennis will join)
• Crosby, Lockyer and Hamilton TRA: Tuesday 8^th September 5.30 pm. Meet in Crosby Row courtyard (Cllr Humaira Ali will join)
• Lawson TRA : TBA
